The conflict between French president Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro is going from bad to worse, as both the national representatives have started to attack each other with personal comments.
Not a long ago, the Brazilian president made some harsh comments about the first lady of France, Brigitte Macron. And, now Emmanuel Macron Slams Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro for his insulting comments.
All of this started, when Bolsonaro supported a Facebook post, in which the appearance of Marcon’s wife was compared to Bolsonaro’s wife and France’s first lady was mocked. After this incident, many people have remarked Bolsonaro as ‘sexist’.
The photo was posted with a caption that the difference between the two was the actual reason of the French president attacking his Brazilian counterpart over the Amazon fire.
A supporter of Bolsonaro took to Facebook to compare the appearance of 66-year-old Brigitte Macron and 37-year-old Michelle.
To this comparison, that person posted that now people can understand the reason for Bolsonaro’s persecution by Macron. To this post, Bolsonaro laughingly replied that they should not humiliate Macron.
Many people have disliked this act of the Brazilian president and have remarked that he shouldn’t do such shameful acts if he was not able to make some efforts to solve the bad situation of the Amazon forest. Many people are still angry at Bolsonaro’s incapability of solving this matter of international importance. Solely due to this reason the French president had attacked Bolsonaro in the first place.
Macron has stated that he won’t go down to such low level of Bolsonaro and wouldn’t insult him back.
The French president said that he felt sad about Bolsonaro and for all the Brazilians, especially for the women for having a president like Bolsonaro.
He also added that according to him the Brazilians are great human beings and they would be ashamed at the conduct of their president. The people of Brazil will always have his respect and he also wished that the Brazilians should soon get a well-mannered president.
Many of Macron’s supporters have turned to social media to attack the Brazilian president and some have also apologized to Macron through the trending hashtag #SorryBrigitte.
A Brazilian apologized on the social media on behalf of his president and termed him as an idiot.
Another Brazilian also felt ashamed at his president’s behavior and stated that the Brazilian people weren’t represented by their stupid president.
Some other Brazilian apologized to Lady Macron and expressed his regret over the entire matter and also praised her and her husband.
Many people have now started terming Bolsonaro as the Brazilian Donald Trump.
