None can be more thrilled in eating their own word that I as Guerrilla has done on their recently made statements regarding Horizon Zero Dawn, ‘We’re getting an official PC port with massive features’. In a brief, Aloy has made a comeback on the menu and this is a proper PC port that is certainly exciting and worth getting hyped.

For the PC gamers, the dreaded FOV lock was pretty promising; this has been scrapped as Horizon Zero Dawn release date confirmed with a bevy of PC features ensuring high quality of lifeIt will come with a field-of-view slider, which will make the title more playable for many users.

This shift is huge that was well worked up at the background than simply the ‘‘add slider’; many FOVs on titles are locked to rendering, in much the same way developers have a habit of locking physics to frame rate for console titles.

This alone is massive for the gameplay.

Next, it was announced by Guerrilla Games that the game would be consisting of uncapped frames per second, which is another grand victory for the studio and PC gamers alike. This announcement has ensured that the fans will no longer have to play with wonky effects while using the PC port on 144 Hz monitors, and it will also support the newest 240 Hz. It is once again a massive victory that has juxtaposed the original announcement.

Horizon Zero Dawn for PC is set to consist of Benchmarking (!!) that will let the players stress-test their rigs and choices by making use of the wondrous world that is filled with dynamic foliage and much better reflections; fans must also make note of the suggested specs as these aren’t astronomically high, calling for a GTX 1060. It’s plausible that the fans will need higher to maximize every set, and mods will inevitably be playing a role in swallowing your PC hardware as well.

Fans must watch the trailer to witness the various settings that Guerrilla has managed to add to this amazing title.

The developers have also stated that there would be ultra-wide monitor support.

Guerrilla has been consistently doing the work of porting it on their own, rather than handling the project over to any third-party studio. This decision bodes well not only for future-facing ports from Guerrilla Games but for fans of Horizon Zero Dawn. Handling over previous projects to a third-party studio for porting might not be a good idea for anyone.

Finally, the fans have got to know a solid release date: 7th August 2020. In roughly one month, the players will be able to step into the shoes of Aloy on glorious PC rigs on both Steam and Epic Games Store.

Finally, the fan will be allowed to choose their preferred platforms rather than kowtowing to exclusivity deal purchases made moments before release. The game is currently available for pre-order on both the platforms at $50. If you want to use it from outside of the United States, it would behoove you to scope the pricing for both stores: Steam has more regions available with their regional pricing, which could save you a sizeable amount of cash.

For the admirers of beautifully haunting worlds with various features that one can shake a stick at, it is certainly hard to neglect that Guerrilla Games Horizon Zero Dawn has undergone a huge change in how it has been looking at this PC port. You just have to get ready to actually aim the bow using your mouse, and hit the target, in a month.
