After the humongous success of 2018 hit, God of War, the creative director of the PlayStation smash is now all set to work on another project about which he has put up a little hint on his Twitter account.

Through series of Twitter updates, God of War director Cory Barlog teases Sci-Fi project for the future in cryptic tweets and it already looks amazing. Reportedly the upcoming venture is going to explore the far regions of space.

In a tweet, the director had posted End Transmission which left all of his fans blatantly confused. Furthermore, Barlog changed his profile picture to a photo of the Voyager 1 space satellite and also changed his cover picture to a collection of stars and galaxies.

Moreover, his bio in Twitter now updates to a series of dots, leaving the fans pondering over his upcoming project.

If the series of dots present in his bio is being translated then it reads 55HSIE.

Although it might not make sense as of now, there might be some deeper meaning hidden in that code. Which only time will reveal. Some players are assuming that the SIE at the end stands for Sony interactive Entertainment but that is just an assumption.

What enhanced the confusion level in the fans is the timing of the project. It is being assumed that Barlog’s next game is a direct sequel to his most recent God of War which would leave enough space for a follow-up chapter later on.

Supposedly, the God of War sequel is expected to be a next-generation title that would be appearing exclusively on PlayStation 5.

It is very much possible that the talented creative director has already started wrapped up his work with the God of War sequel and has begun handling a future project, which means that the next God of War has already been developed and he has put his hands on some other venture.

Chances are also that the project could be related to some other topic and not games necessarily. It can be some smaller game on which Barlog is currently working on before he starts working on the development of some another realm by jumping God of War adventure.

Credited to his history with the iconic God of War franchise, Barlog is one of the most significant and well-known directors in the industry who had worked on the original God of War and its sequel named God of War 2 and had returned with the franchise to revive it for 2018’s God of War which could also be titled as God of War 4.

The development of that game was however detailed in a documentary released for free on YouTube which was called Raising Kratos and Barlog was a prominent figure in the documentary, being a part of which had earned him a lot of ill fame.
