The British TV chef and food critic tried to do something different for his daughter Tilly’s 18th birthday which was celebrated last week. He spent £500,000 to have Ed Sheeran at her milestone birthday party as the ‘Perfect’ singer is her absolute favorite.
When it comes to making his daughter’s birthday a night to remember, Gordon Ramsay did not leave a single wish of his teenage daughter unfulfilled. He made her birthday with everything he could to make it special, making it a next level birthday bash for her. A party insider told The Sun that he did not care about spending because he just wanted to make his daughter happy.
Pop singer Ed Sheeran is her favorite singer. So when Gordon Ramsay a show of Ed at the 18th birthday party of his daughter, nothing could get better. Though the whole performance deal with the British singer and songwriter came a little pricey. Ed Sheeran even put up a picture of him performing at Gordon Ramsay’s daughter’s birthday bash on his official Instagram page.
Apart from Ed Sheeran’s highlighted performance, the party had other charms as well. It had a James Bond theme with drinks served with her face or the 007 logo on them. The guests were supposed to come in a black-tie that went well with the themed party. And that was not all; there was an ice sculpture of 007 that the guests could drink from.
It is in the news that Gordon had to pay a colossal £500,000 to the famous singer of ‘Shape of you’ Ed Sheeran for the night to arrange an intimate gig at Tilly’s birthday party.
Recently Tilly was on the edge of getting a piece of mind of his father when she decided to tell the world about them with a picture on her Instagram earlier this month. But her dad seemed to be the best dad in the world because he wanted to give her the best surprise on her birthday that came after her going all public with her boyfriend on Instagram.
Tilly posted two black and white photos with an unknown handsome guy as they were visiting places in South Africa. In a photo, the two are found wrapping their arms around each other and in the next one, she looked happy while being nestled in close. The budding chef shocked her father and the TV chef gave a sweary comment on his daughter’s picture that went viral for a while. Tilly's brother Jack got a hunch of the imminent situation and commented on her post that it was time to face the truth. Her sister Megan added with a light note that all the other siblings had been that but she was strong enough to face their father’s wrath. One person asked if he was her boyfriend to which she replied he might be.
It is natural for Gordon to get a shock as he got to know his teenage daughter is dating Gino D'Acampo's son Luciano just two weeks ago. Gordon commented later that Tilly, who has her own CBBC show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, vibed some close connection with Gino's boy, who is 17, while fathers were filming a new TV show ‘Men behaving badly’. He even talked about his daughter’s blooming romance with the son of his pal Gino, 43 during his interview on The Jonathan Ross Show.
When the famous British chef was inquired the authenticity of the spreading rumors about the growing closeness between two celebrity offsprings, famously foul-mouthed Gordon expressed with a sweary expression that it was like a nightmare. He said when he and his pal were driving through San Francisco and FaceTiming Luciano, and all of a sudden when Tilly popped up behind them as they were having lunch, he was totally perplexed. But in the end, he estimated that they were just friends for now.
