After the casting of Batman of 2021 got leaked, the Twilight superstar chatted with Kristien Gijbels for the podcast HFPA In Conversation where he threw light on his past fame that he received from earlier roles in films like Twilight and Harry Potter.
The rumor of Robert Pattinson playing as The Batman casting is the red hot topic right now. Robert was shocked to see the leaked information in the headlines as it was kept under supreme secrecy. He found out about the news on his way to Cannes said laughingly to the interviewer. People might think he was behind it but the truth is the whole production team maintained high secrecy, not even allowing him to bring a date with him for the dinner.

He attempted his first interview with HFPA many years ago for his role in Harry Potter. He revealed to the host that he actually liked the atmosphere around him while working with Harry Potter co-stars. The kids were treated with discipline like a real school and had familiar accounts.
He reminisced a memory back when he was on his first press tour for Harry Potter in Tokyo. He was sitting in his room and enjoying a vantage view of the streets for the first time and thanked for getting the ultimate chance to have the career he dreamed for.
He talked about his audition experience for the movie that changed his career graph in a blink of an eye. It was one and only Twilight and since then he never looked back. He mentioned that he didn’t even own a fancy video camera at that time and used his parents’ vintage handy-cam. After tons of bad and confidence wrecking auditions, he got to know about the Twilight audition that was around the corner and the rest is what he has become today.
Now his career will have a new trajectory, adding his name with The Batman movies and playing the role of Bruce Wayne. Now it is to see how the vampire boy delivers justice to the citizens of Gotham as The Batman.
