The $350,000 lawsuit filed by Buckley LLP has been settled by Johnny Depp. Both parties have settled the case outside the court and the case will come to its official end in December.

According to Celebrity NewsDepp’s ex-lawyers of Buckley LLP filed a case against him in May, after Depp allegedly denied to pay his $347,979.89 bill, including a 10% discount. Buckley LLP stated that the actor paid only $187,717.39 and promised to pay the remaining amount later. However, Depp never paid them the remaining amount and that’s why the law firm sued the Hollywood actor.

Depp had hired Buckley LLP to file a $30 million lawsuit against Bloom Hergott LLP, his former legal team. In that case, the actor stated that the attorneys kept commissions of $30million but without any legal agreement that allowed them to take a percentage of his income.

Even though the actor has settled the case outside the court, once he did state in court that he didn’t owe Buckley LLP any money.

‘Defendants further deny that Plaintiff suffered damages as a result of the alleged wrongful conduct of Defendants, and further generally and specifically deny that Plaintiff is entitled to any remedy or relief, legal, equitable, or otherwise, in any sum whatsoever, as against Defendants’, read Depp’s court filing.

The actor had argued that the law firm was charging him ‘excessive and unreasonable’ rates and this was why the bill was so high. The court denied throwing the case out and eventually Depp decided to settle the case.

The famous Hollywood actor has also been sued over an alleged assault by a former crew member. In the case, the court ruled that the plaintiff was not allowed to take Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard or his alleged drug use.

In another court case, the actor is battling with her ex-wife as he sued her for defamation. Amber has denied all the allegations of Depp and has also asked the court to toss the lawsuit.
