Kenya Moore herself was a beauty contestant and took home the Miss USA title back in the year of 1993.
Her emotional message on Instagram starts off with a congratulatory note for her sister Zozibini Tunzi. She also praised her grace, dignity, and poise. She also shared some anecdotes that said that back in her growing up years, a woman of color was never considered beautiful. With this year’s win, she set an example and paved the way for social and cultural changes. She was all proud and gushing over this historic win and for all the right reasons.
