19 people were killed in the white Island eruption that happened last month which included two people who have never been found.

The bodies of the 17-year-old Winona Jane Langford and the 40-year-old Hayden Bryan Marshall Inman has been thought to be in the water off the coast of the island.

The police have decided to carry on extensive searches on the shoreline substantial searches which are aerial.

In spite of this kind of search, no significant items have been located.

According to Andy McGregor, the superintendent of police that the decision regarding the two missing people has been informed to their families. He also mentioned that the police are active enough and will respond readily if any information regarding them comes out.

The White Island eruption which is a tourist destination and very popular happened on December 9th.

On the island, there were 47 people when the incident took place with 24 Australians, 9 US citizens, 5 kiwis, 4 Germans, two people each from UK and China and one person from Malaysia.

Names of 17 victims have been released by police and all of them are from the US, New Zealand and Australia.

According to them, Ms. Langford who was a tourist visiting the island along with her family coming from Sydney and a local tour guide Mr. Marshall Inman are presumed to be dead aa they have been missing.

Anthony and Kristine, Ms. Langford's parents have been killed in the eruption, but Jesse the brother survived.

A helicopter pilot flew to White island after the eruption took place to rescue survivors and said that Marshall -Inman was seen but could not be helped.

Tom Storey spoke to Newshub and he knew Mr. Marshall Inman that he tried to pull him out from the place he was and tried to make him feel very comfortable in a way he could so that he can g back to rescue him.

Mr. Storey first moved his friend and kept on saving other tourists. He turned back as the volcano was continuing to erupt but he was told by others to not go as he found it very hard.

He said that if he had started a job, he needs to finish it and when it comes to family one must finish the job.

When the death of Marshall Inman was confirmed by his family, according to a local supermarket who said that they would leave $5( £2.50, US $ 3.30) regularly to help other's in shopping and paying for them.

The Langford family were on a day tour and visited the white Island as passengers on the cruise ship called the Ovation of the Seas.

Jesse was the surviving son who was believed that he suffered from severe burns.
