Cute characters with a challenging adventure game, Giraffe & Annika will soon be out. Playism announces Giraffe and Annika North America PC Release Date. However, this game will only be published for North American audiences.
The game Giraffe & Annika stars an interesting cat-eared heroine Annika who experiences several adventures on the imperious island, Spica along with her bluebird friend named Pipi. But unfortunately, Annika has lost her memories but this doesn’t stop her from remaining carefree and gentle.
Apart from Annika’s adventures, the game also features a young boy named Giraffe who claims to know Annika but she refuses to remember or know him. However, shoe accompanies Giraffe to collect pieces of the three stars and solve the progressing mysteries on the island. It is only after she collects the stars that she can finally discover the hidden secrets of the island.
The primary antagonist of the game is the Witch of the Forest, Lily. Her character is loud and bossy, and this is the reason why the other characters in the game love her.
As happens, Lily causes problems for Annika on the island and this happens because she is somehow linked to the heroine’s past.
The game doesn’t enclose a typical RPG Adventure. The enemies get defeated by using rhythm games. The various attacks need to be in synchronization to overcome the obstacles on the island.
Five unique dungeons are present across the island and are present where the star fragments are held and these dungeons hold the key to unlock Annika’s memories.
The adventure game also gives a cute and surprising bonus factor where the players can go hunting for the cat paintings and then combine them to unlock the adorable artwork. And, as the gallery keeps growing, the players can go on unlocking the prizes.
Atushi Saito, the Director & Program Character Design is the one who created Giraffe & Annika under his development studio atelier mimina. The one in charge of the soundtrack is TOMZUIN H, who has previously worked on the GitarooMan series. The game was constructed using the Unreal Engine.
The game has already been highly acknowledged and awarded with several awards before being released in English. It has been awarded the Indie Game Grand Prize at the 2017 Tokyo Game Show, Indie Game Area Official Selection at the 2019 Tokyo Game Show, and has also been the Unreal Dev Grant Recipient.
Giraffe & Annika which was previously released on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, will now be available to the players on PC.
The release date of Giraffe & Annika on PC via Steam can be expected on February 18, 2020.
