Apex Legends is continuously ticking over in the background behind the hype for Call of Duty’s Warzone. This previous week, it was the first ranked split, which divided the ranked season between King’s Canyon and World’s Edge. Apex Legend's April Fools Mozambique special and teasers for upcoming Bloodhound Town Takeover event and, now with this, the developers have added so many new things to surprise the players, who try to enter the arena today.

The Mozambique, which is also known as the biggest meme gun of Apexx, is a little thing that has received a huge response over the last year. With a Hammerpoint hop-up, the gun is now better, but you won’t see anyone picking it up if the chance of picking some other gun is provided. As a part of April Fools, the players might come across some upgraded Mozams lying around with more bullets.

What fans hope isn’t an April Fool’s joke is the coming Stories from the Outlands, the animated shorts that take a detailed look at the character’s lore. During this time, the 10-minute long animation has become a staple of the storytelling of Apex Legend. The short is set to premiere tomorrow.

Along with a touch of Bloodhound background, the coming event is rumored to involve a Bloodhound Town Takeover on World’s Edge, maybe on the map’s top left corner, close to the so-called Sniper Mountain and camping hotspot.

By heading over to the said side of the map today, the users will find a collapsed Prowler, one of the beasts which will be added to the game during the event. Bloodhound is certainly a famous hunter, and the addition of a new creature to the entire premise would tie in with the Flyers of Apes Legend’s Season 2.

Town Takeover is nothing but map changes that put the focus on a certain Legend, like Wraith’s Test Labs on the old King’s Canyon map, or the Mirage Voyage on World’s Edge now playable in ranked. As of now, it seems that the Bloodhound’s Town Takeover will certainly be a hot place to drop in the upcoming weeks.

Whether or not the event will be paired with more collectible items, a significant game patch, or the introduction of new game modes, is yet to be seen. Many players are hoping that Respawn keeps working on the development of the game into the 5th season due to competition from other games, such Warzone and the upcoming Valorant might draw away the active player base of this game.
