Many celebrities are joining the support for the Black Lives Matter movement every day. Glee star Lea Michele has also jumped the bandwagon to express her solidarity and support against the brutal murder of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis, on her social media.

Even though her post got a lot of love and support, Lea Michele got slammed by Glee co-star Samantha Marie Ware for not making her feel like her 'life mattered' on the set  of the show.

According to USA Daily, Lea posted that George Floyd did not deserve this and it was not an ‘isolated incident’. Soon after her post, her Glee sixth season co-star Samantha Marie Ware accused Michele of racism against her on the show and said Michele was merely repeating empty words and phrases.

Also, Dabier Snell, a guest-star during a 2014 episode on the show, revealed that Michele did not permit him to sit at the same table with the other cast and crew members because Lea supposedly told him that he didn’t belong there.

Lea Michele got many awards including two Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination, for her role as Rachel Berry on the hit show.

According to Variety, Michele was reportedly dropped by HelloFresh after Samantha Ware accused her of making her life a ‘living hell’ while they worked on Glee.

Ware recalled her ‘Traumatic microaggressions’ during the show that prompted her to question her future in Hollywood. HelloFresh expressed their disappointment with the incident in their official statement and said they didn’t support racism or discrimination of any kind.

They have also announced that they will be ending their partnership with Lea ‘effective immediately’. Variety disclosed that Michele’s partnership with HelloFresh has been remarkably fruitful.

Since HelloFresh commonly works with individuals who have large followings, they approached Michele who currently has 6.5 million followers on her social media. Michele has already posted a lot of sponsored images on her social media in association with the brand.
