Mama June Shannon is trying to make a different identity for a change. She doesn’t treat herself like a winsome reality TV star. The Toddlers & Tiaras celerity thinks that she is a normal human being and her envious popularity on the TV screen is a result of being "a real person."

She is best known as Honey Boo Boo's mom, and she opens up to share the long story of recovery. She has a history of drug abuse and she came a long way to correct her habits for her family. Now her mission is to win back her daughter’s trust. It is a long fight and she is in it to win again like she defeated the struggle with drugs. They have been staying apart for over a year in the spinoff series Mama June: Road to Redemption. "She's determined to turn her life around, but can she?" host Cohen asked before introducing Mama June while complimenting her new teeth.

On the other hand, Mama June turns out to be a massive fan of Cohen. "I'm going to be real with you, I had to YouTube you because I didn't know who you were," Mama June hilariously admitted in the exclusive sit-down. "I don't watch much TV."

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star accepts that there is a part of herself intermixed with "real reality TV" that doesn't "fit out here in Hollywood." This was a serious statement with raised the question if Mama June was not happy letting cameras and lights follow her every time to film her life over the last decade.

Not at all. "If you start regretting what you've done, then you shouldn't have done that s--t in the first place," Mama June told Andy. She does however draw a line at starring in a pornographic film, or at least that is until she loses the 60 pounds she put on during quarantine from "eating fat cakes."

Cohen came up with a strong intention to question her sobriety. Mama June told the fans that she’s "very big into the recovery community" alongside boyfriend Geno Doak. "It's not his fault that I had my addiction," Mama June explained. "I believe that during our addiction, both of us what I call our crazy state of mind and sometimes you got to love people through their addiction. He loved me through my addiction, and I've loved him through his addiction."

Her struggle with the addiction was very hard to give up but she spent years after years to recover herself. She revealed that she had to spend $600,000 in six months on cocaine so that she and Geno could cut off their drug dependency.

"It's kind of crazy when you think about the dollar amount," Mama June admitted. "In a year we probably spent over a million dollars, because our habit was $3,500 to $4,000 a day."
