It has come to the news that John Lennon’s eldest son Julian is going to sell some musical items from his personal collection. The auction will be held at Julien’s Auction on the 7th of February.

All the items will be sold as memorabilia and as a non-fungible token (NFT). NFTs are now one of the valuable items in the digital market.

In the auction each item will be presented in both audio and visual manner, along with that it will contain a narration about the item by Lennon’s son.

There will be the handwritten notes by Paul McCartney, writing ‘Hey Jude’. The letter was originally written for Julian during the time of John and Cynthia’s divorce. For this particular item, the bidding starts from $30,000.

Other than this there will be the Afghan coat that was worn by John Lennon in the Beatles film Magical Mystery Tour, and the Gibson Les Paul guitar that was gifted to Julian.

Julian said, ‘I’ve been collecting these personal items for about 30 years, and I was getting a bit fed up with them being locked away in a vault, where I’ve had to keep them because I didn’t want them to get damaged’. So he arranged for this auction and kept alive the things.

He even said that he has done some exhibitions in Europe and planned to do a tour with the item but due to the last two difficult years they couldn’t do the tour. So they have arranged for this exhibition.
