All of the administrative work for the project was done by Farshad Hesami and Iman Hellsa, who were also responsible for the album's production. The recording sessions took place in Los Angeles, in the state of California, as well as in Tehran, in the country of Iran.

In this album, he talks about his inner child and reveals a considerable amount of personal information about the younger version of himself. It was decided to give the album the title "Indigo Kid" to draw attention to the fact that it is about the vocalist exploring their inner child.

The name Indigo Child was selected for the album because it exemplifies brilliance, innovation, and thinking that is outside the box and provides solutions. It was a major factor in the decision-making process.

Previous work and accomplishments.

AmiRimA's interest in music was ignited by Tears 4 Fears and their hit tune "Shout," which became a global phenomenon. Since that time, he has continued to hold a fondness for the band. After some time passed, the rap group RUN DMC sparked his interest in writing lyrics. Rapping in karaoke bars inevitably led to his covering popular hip-hop songs, which he did by first listening to the originals and then writing his lyrics to those melodies. He did this by following this process: first listening to the originals, then writing his own words to those tunes. He studied the music and wrote his lyrics to correspond with the tunes.

In 2008, he began the process of self-publishing the four books that would eventually comprise his poetry tetralogy Life Lines. The first book was published in 2009, the second in 2010, the third in 2011, and the fourth will be published in 2019. Iran Before Islam, now in its third print (AcePub/Blue Room); The Mystical Persian Legacy, Volume II (AcePub/Blue Room); As He Sees Himself Like You, now in its second edition (AcePub/Blue Room); Hafez's Mystical Language; Selection from the Garden of Sa'adi; The Mystical Persian Legacy, Volume II (AcePub/Blue Room); Hakim Ibn Khaldun On my six-disc English CD titled Serving A Greater Earth, you can find songs that he wrote and recorded by himself.
