Famitsu, the weekly gaming magazine of Japan has released some more details about the Yakuza series of the latest RPG game- Yakuza: Like A Dragon.

Yakuza, who is also famously known as Ryu Ga Gotoku in Japan, is pretty famous for its mini-games. It is an action-adventure game that focuses on the life of the Yakuza. The game is owned and published by Sega.

The first series of the game was launched in the year 2005. For the past 14 years, many mini-series’ has been released. Recently, the developers launched the seventh title of the series.

This new version is designed with completely different adventures that showcase different sides of Japan, which weren’t explored before.

This series will get to see a new main protagonist; this has occurred after using the same protagonist for over ten years. Ichiban Kasuga, the main protagonist is a downgraded member of Yakuza.

The 7th title of the Yakuza Series features Summonsvarious characters of the game, and also vocal artists.

With this ‘summons’ feature, players can get help by paying money through their smartphones. Gonda Wara, Gary Buster Holmes, and many other characters can be accumulated. ‘Summon’ feature can be used to support the players while combating in the battle.

A game named Dragon Kart will also be added to this series. This is a racing game, which will allow the users to drive karts across Yokohama Street. By driving through these crates will give the users special powers that they can use while attacking the enemies, like Gatling guns and rocket. Too much detail isn’t revealed about the game or the weapons.

‘Traditional Movie Theater’ is another game that will be added to this new series. In it, the players will have to help out Ichiban Kasuga, the always-sleepy protagonist, to keep him awake throughout the movie.

Another game was introduced in the magazine that is PachiSlot. This game gives the feeling of the Japanese arcade game.

The series will release on PlayStation 4 of the Western areas in the next year. This series would be available on PlayStation, in Japan, on 16th January 2020.
