The recent update, Onslaught of the Star Wars the Old Republic’s 6.0 Expansion is a thrilling continuation of the SWTOR story which leads the way into the Republic vs Empire that has already set the standard high of the game. The unique spin comes with the ability to remain loyal or sabotage their original faction. But as it happens with all major releases, the game features some bug as well as some undiscovered ones that were present in the previous content.

Star Wars the Old Republic’s 6.0 Expansion begins with the player getting involved in a cutscene space battle where they are given the choice to either remain loyal or sabotage their original faction which gets reflected soon after. Following this, the players head to achieve their mission and land up in Onderon and do a bunch of quests there. And, once they are done with Onderon they will straightaway head to Mek-Sha to complete another bunch of quests there before finally heading into the solo mode of the new Corellia flashpoint.

But there’s a twist in the game which hasn’t happened since Rise of the Hutt Cartel In 2013. The players get to play through a faction-specific story along with faction-specific locations and faction-specific NPC’s to interact with along with a few NPCs that react differently depending on the gamer’s faction and class. Here some NPCs show up in both faction stories whereas others don’t. But whatever happens, everything remains unique and specified to the faction.

However there are a few glitches that will be fixed with the next update, but as of now, it persists. One of the most striking bugs that the gamers will instantly notice is the inability to chat on Onderon. This unavailability makes it impossible for the groups to chat. Therefore if the players want to group up for Onderon, they have to necessarily go to the fleet or Ondessen or anywhere else where they can necessarily build up their groups. This whole process further makes it difficult to ask questions about the confusing quests or also when the quest marker doesn’t show up the quests on the map.

Other glitches are cosmetic. For example, if a player is sided with the Republic on loath, Darth Vowraan takes place Acina’s as Emperor and is supposed to have a new outfit either way. Further, if the gamer is playing an Imperial character, then they visit the Dark Council chamber and the scene has another vanilla-model looking Vowraan who overlaps the chair along with Darth Shaar.

Another significant bug is that when the players try to jump directly into the Onslaught without finishing Knights of the Fallen Empire/ Knights of the Eternal Throne, they get locked out of certain companions. Moreover, few items are missing animation models which they previously had.

Gamers playing on a low-end machine have to face a game-breaking bug. While they try to play on the Imperial Side after landing on Mek-Sha, the cutscene that had happened previously after the boss fight gets frozen up or refuses to advance. This is that very Same bug that affects all agent cutscenes with Watcher Two/ Keeper/ SharaJen, which is the first scene after the Emperor’s Hand contacts the Warrior’s ship, KOTET Chapter 4, if the player killed Koth, and also if the player sides with the Empire and romanced Theron Shan during the War for lokath.

When and how these bugs will get fixed is still not revealed or how long will it take for the SWTOR customer care to get back to the gamers.

Reportedly, these bugs might get fixed during the bug fixing patch coming next week. Meanwhile, players are having a tough time dealing with the problems while the developers are busy listing out the bugs that need to be fixed. The players can, however, follow up with the bug fixation updates on SWTOR Twitter account.
