Russell Wilson’s mother has finally decided to open up about how she feels about Ciara, her daughter in law. Russell Wilson’s mother Tammy Wilson was honest and raw with him when she discovered he was dating Ciara- she did it for the reason.
Tammy Wilson revealed the advice she shared with her son on learning that he was dating a mother of 5-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn. She had reportedly opened up about the matter during an appearance on the Raising Fame: Sports Edition which is a podcast being hostel by Steph Curry’s parents namely Sonya and Dell Curry.
She had clearly stated the NFL star ion how he should behave with Ciara’s son from her previous relationship with rapper Future. She stated that the first time when her son had disclosed to her about the relationship he had sent her a picture seeing which she had commented that the girl looks familiar.
Tammy went on to add that he didn’t really follow Ciara but had come across a documentary of hers or may have read an article about her. Quite honestly she said that she being a mother herself loves her kid very much and had asked that whether or not Ciara has a kid. Following this, both Tammy Wilson and Russell Wilson shared a conversation.
Reportedly Tammy had claimed that she being in the same situation herself she knows how he was born and therefore she doesn’t have the authority to judge anyone. She said Russell that if he is actually serious about her and loves her with all his heart then he has to accept that kid as well if it was his own, even if that means giving the kid his name.
Tammy’s advice concluded on the note that if he was going to be with someone who has a kid then you can never treat that kid differently and moreover when the matter is about Ciara, Russell loves everything about and related to her.
Russell and Ciara who had tied the knot back in the year 2016 have a 2-year-old daughter named Sienna and also they are expecting a baby currently.
During an interview of the Seattle Seahawks quarterback with the BuzzFeed, he went on to speak about Future and said that the one thing which he has learned from becoming a stepdad and then also having a little daughter is that being a stepdad has really helped him to understand what true love feels like.
He also added that it is quite interesting because it is quite easy to love somebody who has your blood and everything but when you are able to love somebody just like it is your own child, the real feeling of love strikes.
After listening to all of these it is pretty clear that Russell did not pay heed to his mother this time.
