It was reported on Friday, that Johnny Depp, the actor of the Secret Window filed a motion to quash the subpoena filed by Amber Heard in the Supreme Court of Manhattan which would then get the Weinstein Company to reveal the documents related to Harvey Weinstein and Johnny Depp. Thus, Johnny Depp Files Motion To Squash Weinstein Company Subpoena From Amber Heard.
It was reported by Page Six that Heard’s subpoena would bring out information relating to Johnny Depp’s $50 million lawsuit that he filed against his ex wife. Manhattan Supreme Court stated that the petition Depp filed has no relation with the subpoena to the Virginia defamation lawsuit he had against her.
Amber Heard’s subpoena has potential documents that cover all the communication between Harvey Weinstein and Johnny Depp while they were working together for years.
The lawsuit might expose the documents to take actions to the violence on Johnny’s part during the period of production of the movie The Libertine in 2004 which starred Johnny Depp and it was produced by The Weinstein Company.
Earlier it was reported that Johnny Depp filed a defamation lawsuit against his former wife after her approach to writing an opinion piece in the Washington Piece accusing him of domestic violence and mentioning her as a survivor of an abusing relationship.
His name was never taken in the op-ed for the Washington Post, but he assumed that it was interpreted that he abused her all the while in the piece. The witnesses of the feud between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard know that there will be some shocking truth coming out now.
There was an audio recording found recently that featured Amber Heard confessing to him her husband many times under heated circumstances. Even she admitted in the audio that Johnny was over-reacting.
In the clip the actor seemed to warn the actress if the abuse remained like this, then they had to call off their marriage. She was heard saying that sometimes she used to get so mad that it was beyond any control to check on violence, in the audio. She even said that she could not promise any further and might hit him again.
