Visual Concepts Will Develop WWE 2K21 Despite Take-Two Being Disappointed With 2K20

Developer Visual Concept is once again back with WWE 2K21 despite developing the biggest disappointment in the gaming industry with 2K20 last year. Visual Concepts Will Develop WWE 2K21 Despite Take-Two Being Disappointed With 2K20most likely in this fall.

Since its launch WWE 2K20 had received mostly negative reviews, most regarding it as unplayable. The players have complained of experiencing multiple errors and glitches and the issues still haven’t been fixed. Though the game became the biggest disappointment to gamers all over the globe, developer Visual Concept is still getting a second chance from Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K to make amends for their previous work.

Recently in a conference call, Take-Two affirmed that Visual Concept will be developing WWE 2K21 despite disappointing them with the last year’s game. To guarantee the success of the new game they confirmed that they will work very closely with the developers this time.

Take Two’s CEO has expressed his disappointment saying that WWE 2K20 did not meet their expectation both in terms of sale and quality. To address these issues in the future, they will be working closely with the developing team and will be updating the fans soon. He said, “The WWE brand continues to expand worldwide, and there remains a substantial long-term opportunity to grow our WWE 2K series by improving the quality of the game.”

As Yuke is branching off to make new wrestling games, WWE 2K series is losing its place as the only major pro wrestling game available on the market and will be facing some serious competition if they don’t redeem themselves with the newest game WWE 2K21. WWE’s primary competitor All Elite Wrestling is most likely to be featured on Yuke’s new pro wrestling IP.

As per the opinions of the players, besides all the glitches and other technical shortcomings, the game had nothing new to offer as it’s almost a copy of its predecessor which is quite obvious in all of 2K’s annual sports title. To thrive in the field and crush their opponents, they not only need to fix the bugs and glitches, but they also need to bring in new and exciting concepts to the upcoming title which will please their fans.

Last year 2K20 was launched without the General Manager Mode, though it was tested on social media, upsetting the players, who had to work with the less popular Universal Mode. So it will be a great opportunity for the developers to use the General Manager mode as it has not been used in the game for over a decade.
