The final countdown for the Final Fantasy VII Remake’s release has begun. Undoubtedly, this week is going to be a very difficult time for most of the fans because the release of the game was originally slated in a few days from now, on 3rd March, 2020.

Nevertheless, Square Enix’s development team decided that the best option is to push back the release date of the game as they have cited that a few extra weeks are needed to make sure that the players have been receiving the game which they deserve and have been waiting for.

It is known to Square that what it is doing and it is very much understandable that there was disappointment among the gamers for the delay that has happened. For that reason, a slew of content has been released by them for the countdown of the eventual release of the game through the official Twitter account of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Not long ago, a special graphic has been released by Square to celebrate all the seven weeks until the release of the game.

The time has come and it is not very long from now and it has been Tweeted by Square which also has an hourglass emoji.

Certainly, the Roman Numeral VII which is iconic has been used which has got an especially nice touch that fits very well with the game’s overall theme.

The artwork that has been used is a piece of an image that has been released earlier which shows Tifa sitting on top of the well in Nibelheim, which is her hometown and has been looking up at the stars. The menu screen has been recreated from the original game from 1997.

Between Final Fantasy VII Remake and Butterfinger, it his very much in the heart of the new promotion where the images can be unblocked by the US players as part f the dynamic theme of PlayStation 4.

A lot of regrets has been expressed by Yoshinori Katase, who is the producer of the game after the official announcement came out regarding the delay of the game. Nevertheless, he seemed very adamant for the good of the game, this has been the right decision along with the experience of the players as a whole.

Back in 14th January, Kitase said that a tough decision has been made by them so that a few extra weeks are given to them so that the game is applied with the final polish and the best possible experience are delivered to them. He also stated that he wants to apologize to everyone on behalf of the entire team as according to him this means people have to wait for the game for a longer period than required. He also thanked the fans for their continuous support and patience.

The game could release at a later date as it can be pushed back and in a recent call, it has been confirmed by Square that there will be no impact for the delay of the release date for Final Fantasy VII Remake’s second installment which is coming up.

 

The worldwide release of Final Fantasy Remake VII will be on 10th April, 2020 on the console of PlayStation 4.
