The exemplary journalist Chris Cuomo, even after he came out positive for the COVID-19 test, has decided to run his show. His show on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, was aired on CNN from the basement of his house. Though he is fighting hard with the deadly disease, the painful symptoms are of the flu are giving him a hard time all the way. Due to high fever every now and then, heha started to hallucinate and shared that one moment he thought he was speaking to his dead father Mario Cuomo. After he was tested positive for Coronavirus, he Spoke To His Deceased Father, Mario, As His Fever Continues During Coronavirus Battle.

He shared this bizarre experience of talking to his dead father and the former New York governor not just as a story but to elaborate how painful the whole journey is after he got infected by the virus. On his show, he did not only talk about his experiences but also heard others’ stories which are equally disheartening. While sharing his story with the audience, he spoke to Arnold Vargas with a rendering heart who lost his husband, Dr. Frank Garbin. He was a benevolent doctor who risked his life to treat Corona positive patients in New York hospitals before succumbing to death by the same contagious infection. That was not all, as Arnold Vargas himself has tested positive for Coronavirus and having similar symptoms.

While on the show, Chris discussed the distressing experience of high temperatures that made him shiver throughout his quarantine and developing rigors so bad that he chipped a tooth. He stated in his show Cuomo Prime Time that he felt like someone was jolting and beating him up like a pinata. Not only that, the worst part was the hallucinations. He started to agonize and started to talk to his father in shivering fever. His temperature was always running between 101 to 103 which is above normalcy. He spoke to his deceased father and saw friends from his college whom he had not met for ages. It freaked him out and made the nightmares come alive.

He later spoke to CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta to confirm the symptoms that might be informative for other victims as well. Then he continued the show with a heart-rending interview with Arnold Vargas as they honored the memory and legacy of Dr. Frank Garbin.

Chris raised his concern saying a good man like Dr. Frank Garbin did not have to die if he was given adequate protection with the proper PPE while treating the patients. The journalist made it clear that the health workers who are the guardian angels right now to save us from the claws of COVID-19 and help the patients to eradicate the infection thoroughly are not getting the required protections. The nation’s health care workers are on the front lines and the only hope to get through this hard time, so it is the basic duty of the government to keep them protected.

Chris Cuomo is coming with more stories as he continues his battle against Coronavirus.
