The capital of Western Australia, Perth, is facing a ferocious bushfire that forced the people to flee for their lives.

Hundreds of people have spent their night at the evacuation center as the fire at the outskirts of locked-down city Perth, continues to grow.

This is one of the most outrageous blazes that the citizens of Perth have faced in the last few years. The fire caused devastating destruction through 9,000 hectares and burnt 71 homes.

The firefighters are expecting a more challenging situation on Wednesday as six of them are already injured while fighting against it.

A five-day coronavirus lockdown has been imposed on the city of Perth which was scheduled to end this Friday. But the newly occurred situation is making things complicated.

Over two million citizens of the city were in confusion about whether to move to safety or to stay at home.

The State officials of Western Australia (WA) have urged the citizen to prioritize their immediate safety over the risk of the virus since its chances are low.

The fire Commissioner of WA, Darren Klemm said, "The important thing is the preservation of life. So, if you're quarantining and you're required to evacuate, you should just evacuate."

The officials asked the citizens to wear masks to maintain the restrictions at the evacuation center.

The fire that started on Monday has the epitome center at 30 kilometers east of central Perth. The smoke has covered the city and painted the sky with a hazy orange tint.

Sometimes raining ash could be found in different parts of the city and suburban areas which made the air quality worst in different regions.

The firefighters are saying that the high wind speed (75 km/hr) is the reason for the fast-spreading bushfire that is progressing to the populated areas.

The communities of North-east of Perth including many suburban areas like Bullsbrook, The Vines, Aveley, and Shady Hills, are warned for immediate evacuation.

The city has been experiencing over 30C temperature and extremely dry conditions for many days now.

This dual crisis is explained as "a dangerous fire emergency and a Covid-19 lockdown emergency" by the WA Premier Mark McGowan.

The city is experiencing a snap lockdown since the first case of local infection was found in Western Australia in 10 months.

Last summer, Australia experienced an extreme bush fire in the eastern region. However, it has gone through cooler and wetter conditions after that due to the La Nina weather phenomenon.

The authorities said that they had predicted a bushfire might happen in the western region of the country. But it was a mere assumption that took place in reality.
