As the successful Season of the Worthy in Destiny 2 is coming to an end, the developers are ready to surprise the fans once again. As the players are hoping to get more exciting experiences, they surely will not be disappointed with the upcoming events. The Destiny team has provided some information on Reddit regarding this.
According to the leaked news, some players have managed to access the mangled and battered version of the Tower world hub through glitches. It is revealed that some sort of explosion or debris will break some pieces of the Tower during which seemed like a storyline event or some future quest. This event could link to the Almighty that is now approaching the Earth in the universe of the game as huge summer reveal for Destiny 2 showcases exotic bug fixes, new quests, and more upcoming content.
The leaked in-game files have revealed the starting of a new quest featuring the behemoth ship in the next season. The players will be able to battle the Almighty working with Rasputin and Ana Bray at Zavala’s command in the quest, title as ‘A Looming Thread’.
This could have a connection to the explosion at the Tower in the seemingly future quest. Only time will tell how much of this is true.
Moving on to the official statements, the Destiny team on Reddit has been announcing confirmed information about upcoming changes to the title. They have said earlier that weekly bounties, which are the best way to gain the premium Bright Dust currency for use in the Eververse store, will be soon leaving the Destiny 2 universe leaving the fans disappointed.
To assure the players, one of the community managers on Reddit has explained that though the weekly bounties will be disappearing, this does not mean the activity will fully vanish as the main source for Bright Dust would be converted to some other exciting events. These new features with newer challenges will most likely be added to future updates.
The next patch will be getting some long-awaited bug fixes to certain exotic weapons and armors very soon. The developing team is currently dealing with the issues with Doomfang Pauldrons. There had been quite a few complaints about gauntlets not granting super energy as intended garnering a lot of negative reviews.
The team has finally been able to fix the issue with Polaris Lance after a long time. And also according to their team on Reddit, the issues with the perk Perfect Fifth will be fixed very soon and will be disclosed with the next season.
The Destiny website has declared that some items and achievements will be unavailable after the Season of the Worthy closes on June 9th. The 4th Horseman exotic questline will not be accessible to the players after the rollover.
