Fans can now be well assured of the appearance of the fantastic (first arc) anime about being caged inside of a VR MMO as it is receiving another title. This new title looks promising and surprisingly in-depth and competent, based completely on the trailers that have been released so far; Bandai Namco releases a new trailer for upcoming Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris.

It is also worth noting that this is not to say that the titles that were released on previous occasions had fallen short for the primary demographic of Bandai; only on the Steam platform, each core Sword Art Online title is, at the lowest possible recommended title by the players or users.

Yet it still consists of many trappings of standard JRPGs, extending from strange dialogue evolution that will make the players scratch their heads to shoe-horned plot-points, menus within menus on the top of other menus, and finally iffy combat.

Well, Sword Art Online is still a loved franchise and it’s likely that Bandai Namco will continue to plug away at the IP until they can land upon something that can capture the imagination, and wallets, of an RPG fan base beyond the anime.

To argue, that is certainly the sign of a distinguished series, something that can expand its fan base well beyond the real material and then enrapture millions of players that have not been able to witness the source material. For all the intents and reasons, the decidedly verbose next title called Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris looks like it might turn out to be that title.

All the fans have been able to witness so far are a myriad of trailers showcasing their upcoming open-world RPG due to land on July 10, 2020 (on PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One), but those trailers are inspirational far beyond prior trailers that we’ve seen for the franchise.

The fans are certainly in for a great amount of bizarre dialogue that can get far too personal. It cannot be denied that it doesn’t match the standard anime-tropes of dialogue. The users of the title will now be having the opportunity to explore and deepen social links with a wide cast of colorful characters, bringing in their personalized avatar to real life in the latest world of SAO.

The thing that is looking amazing and has the fans buzzing for the title is how rich the open-world will appear to be. From mining and hunting to grinding and fishing, the players will be able to explore the larger world to produce their own items in alchemy and smithing, extending from new weapons with unique move sets to simple staples such as health potions.

The only question that has been left in regards to SAOAL is certainly how the combat is going to feel and play out. Bandai has certainly offered some smaller peaks at the combat part of the upcoming title, but title franchise has been hit-and-miss in regards to it; and aspect that can surely make or break the title for many RPG fans.

From what the fans have been able to witness so far, however, there are possibilities of growth that Sword Art Online will certainly be improving as the releases start to arrive; a feat on which many would argue has left the anime stumped. Fans can expect to begin the expedition on July 10.
